Remon was one of the top rushers not only in program history, but in the state and all of Division III as well. He amassed 4,276 yards on the ground, which at the time was the top mark in state history and the third-highest total in Division III history. Remon set program records with 745 carries, 4,276 yards of total offense, 42 touchdowns and 252 points. He also set school marks with 234 carries in a season in 1987, 47 rushes in a game vs. Washington and Lee in 1987, and a 94-yard kickoff return in 1985. Remon was All-America Honorable Mention in 1987, Academic All-District in 1987, All-ODAC First Team and All-State First Team in 1986 and 1987, and All-ODAC Second Team in 1985. A Dean’s List student and team captain, Remon won the George P. Compton Award in 1988 as the top senior male student-athlete at RMC.
