On the soccer field, Hamm is arguably the best defender in not only school history but in the history of the Old Dominion Athletic Conference. She was a two-time All-American and a three-time All-Region selection. Hamm was named the ODAC player of the Year as both a junior and a senior, earning first-team all-league laurels in each of her years on the pitch. Hamm was also a four-time First-Team All-State selection and was named the Commonwealth’s Player of the Year as both a junior and senior.
