Randolph-Macon College

Pitts was a four-year letter winner and starter at defensive back for the Yellow Jackets. He was All-ODAC First Team as both a sophomore and junior. As a team captain in 1984, Pitts helped RMC win the ODAC Championship and earn one of eight bids to the NCAA Playoffs. The Yellow Jackets finished No. 5 in the final NCAA poll. Pitts had 18 career interceptions, the top mark in program history and fourth on the ODAC all-time list. RMC went 25-14-1 overall and 15-5-1 in conference play during his career.
