Becker was an outstanding wide receiver for the Yellow Jackets. He holds the program record for career receptions with 273, the second-highest total in ODAC history. Becker had 3,683 career receiving yards, tops in school history and fifth all-time in the ODAC. He led the conference with 6.4 receptions per game in 1998 and with 8.0 catches per contest in 2000. Becker was All-ODAC Second Team as a freshman and All-ODAC First Team each of his final three seasons. He was VaSID All-State First Team twice and Second Team once. Becker won the Tad DuPriest Memorial Award in 2000 as the RMC Team MVP. The Yellow Jackets were 23-17 overall and 14-8 in ODAC play during Becker's career. RMC won the 1997 ODAC regular-season title.
