Hall of Fame
A 1975 graduate, Jez was a standout on the Crenshaw hardwood from 1971-1975. At the time of induction, he holds the R-MC career record with 747 assists and ranked 18th all-time with 932 points when he graduated from R-MC. Under the tutelage of R-MC Hall of Famer Paul Webb, Jez helped lead the Yellow Jackets to 82 wins, including a 27-3 mark during his final season in Ashland. In 1973-74, Jez was a second-team All-Virginia Selection and a Honorable Mention Mason Dixon Conference selection. During his senior season, he recorded a school record 297 assists en-route to a First-Team All-Mason Dixon Conference Award and a Second-Team All-State selection.
