McCrary helped the R-MC women's soccer program post an overall record of 66-5-6 from 1992-95, including an amazing 32-0 in ODAC matches. She tallied 63 goals and 37 assists for 163 career points, third in program history and fourth in state history. After being named to the All-Region Third Team as a freshman, McCrary was ODAC Player of the Year, VaSID State Player of the Year and All-America Second Team as a sophomore. She scored 24 goals and registered 10 assists for 58 points. In each of her final three seasons, McCrary was All-ODAC First Team, All-State First Team and All-Region First Team.

The Yellow Jackets were ODAC Champions four times during McCrary's career. R-MC earned NCAA Tournament bids in 1994 and 1995. The 1993 squad set program records for wins in a season (17), winning percentage (17-1, .944), consecutive shutouts (13), most goals in a season (90) and most points in a season (240).
