Hall of Fame
McDearmon played four seasons of volleyball from 2002-05. She was All-ODAC First Team three times and ODAC Player of the Year as a senior. McDearmon was All-State First Team and a member of the VaSID Academic All-State Team. In the four years prior to her arrival, R-MC was 52-48 overall and 25-15 in ODAC play. During her four-year career, the Yellow Jackets were 97-39 overall and 37-5 in conference contests. McDearmon had 1,246 career kills, third in program history and first at time of graduation. She had 1,496 career digs, fifth in program history and first at time of graduation. McDearmon had 202 career aces, third in program history and second at time of graduation. She had 241 career blocks, ninth in program history and fifth at time of graduation. McDearmon was inducted into the Amherst County Sports Hall of Fame in 2017.
