How it Happened
- The Sea Gulls opened the scoring in the first period with a goal four minutes into the game and added another at the 13:30 mark through the first.
- Junior Goalkeeper Kelsey Seiler (Midlothian, Va./Midlothian) shined in the second with 11 saves and zero goals allowed as her efforts kept the halftime deficit at two.
- Salisbury notched four goals in each of the next two periods to widen their lead including four goals in 4:58 by Jordan Brooks.
- Freshman Goalkeeper Cathryn Short (Henrico, Va./Saint Catherine's) played the fourth period and saved seven shots in her 15 minutes of action.
Inside the Numbers
- Kelsey Seiler tallied seventeen saves in the cage to lead the Yellow Jacket efforts.
- Senior Catherine Magill had the lone shot for R-MC in the second period but was blocked.
