COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The National Field Hockey Coaches Association released its 2026 Division III Watchlist and Valentina Ambrogi-Torres (Richmond, Va./Trinity Episcopal School), Breea Dresler (Yorktown, Va./Tabb) and Grace Oates (Poquoson, Va./Poquoson) were all named to represent Randolph-Macon.

Ambrogi-Torres, the reigning Old Dominion Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Year, earned a spot on the list for the second consecutive season. In 2025, the goalkeeper earned RMC's first-ever National Player of the Week award, while racking up five ODAC Defensive Player of the Week awards, totaling the most by any player in a season since the award's inception in 2024. Statistically, she posted career-bests in total saves (155), save percentage (.876), shutouts (nine) and goals allowed per game (1.14). Additionally, her save percentage mark ranked third in the nation in 2025, as a result of stopping 155 of her 178 shots faced.

Dresler sees her name on the list for the first time after leading the Lemon and Black with a career-high eight goals scored last year. As one of four Yellow Jackets to start all 19 contests, she also posted career single-season bests in shots (43), shots on goal (30), points (18) and assists (two). The forward also notched a spot on the All-ODAC Second-Team in 2025, with her season highlighted by her second-career hat trick. 

Oates also earned her first-career slot on the NFHCA Division III Watchlist, thanks to a freshman season that saw her make the All-ODAC Second-Team. In a standout first season, Oates led RMC with five defensive saves. The freshman defender also started more games than any freshman on the roster (13), helping to lead a back line that allowed three-or-more goals scored in only two games last season.

The Yellow Jackets start their 2026 campaign on Tuesday, September 1, against McDaniel. The contest is slated for a 4:30 start time in Westminster, Md.
