ASHLAND, Va. – Randolph-Macon field hockey has been named as one of six schools to make it to the Old Dominion Athletic Conference postseason tournament.
 
RMC, sitting at 11-6 (6-2), will host Bridgewater on Tuesday, November 3, at 6:00 p.m. as the third seed to take on the sixth-seeded Eagles field hockey team. The Eagles hold an 9-9 overall record, with a 3-5 record in conference play. The winner of the quarterfinal contest will travel to Lexington, Virginia, to face the #2 Generals in the semifinals, with the date and time to be announced.
 
The Yellow Jackets earned the third seed after posting a 6-1 record in ODAC contests over the last seven games to close the regular season. The Lemon and Black will see Bridgewater for the second time this season, after shutting the Eagles out 1-0 on October 28. Last season, Randolph-Macon hosted Bridgewater in the ODAC quarterfinals and defeated the fifth-seeded Eagles 1-0 as the fourth seed.

RMC's 6-2 record in conference play marks the first time since 2013 that the program has only had two losses within the ODAC. Furthermore, with the record, the Lemon and Black clinched the third seed for the first time since 2013.
 
The price for admission will be $10.00 for Adult tickets (Ages 13+) and $5.00 for Youth tickets (Ages 2-12), with both options including a platform fee. Students of participating schools with Valid ID and Children 1 & Under will be free. There will also be no admission charge for Faculty and Staff of participating schools with Valid ID.
 
Randolph-Macon encourages fans to purchase tickets digitally via the RMC Box Office (Powered by HomeTown Ticketing). Should individuals not purchase a ticket digitally, it can be done upon arrival to campus, as a ticket is required for entry.
