Catherine Mowry (Lynchburg, Va./Liberty Christian Academy) battled at first doubles and second singles to secure two wins in each of her two matches.

Elizabeth Key (Moseley, Va./Cosby) and
Salomea Tchantouridze (Barre, Vt./U-32) held their opponents to a match-low one game won, taking a 6-1 win at third doubles.

Singles
While Mowry's win in a tiebreak helped to clinch the shutout, both Letellier and Tchantouridze held their opponents scoreless in one set. As a unit, the Lemon and Black did not allow the Maroons to win more than three games in any set in any of the six matches played.
