SWEET BRIAR, Va. – The Yellow Jackets had an impressive showing a Sweet Briar's Battle of the Blue Ridge Individual Tournament, as RMC finished with an overall record of 10-7 across the 17 matches.

Doubles

• In the Doubles A pool, Meckenzie Letellier (Alexandria, Va./Bishop Ireton) and Victoria Updike (Richmond, Va./Trinity Episcopal School) got an early break and picked up a 6-2 win against Lynchburg. The duo completed play against Guilford, where the Yellow Jackets fell 2-6.
• At Doubles B, Campbell Andrulot (Baldwin, Md./Dulaney) and Salomea Tchantouridze (Barre, Vt./U-32) had a narrow loss against Lynchburg, with a final score of 3-6. Andrulot then joined Shaylin Diggs (Newport News, Va./Menchville) for the second contest and swept Shenandoah, 6-0.
• The Yellow Jackets shined in the Doubles C pool, as RMC took all four matches. Madison Barrick (Desert Hot Springs, Calif./Plam Spring) and Elizabeth Key (Moseley, Va./Cosby) led the way with two consecutive 6-0 wins. Both dominant victories came against Sweet Briar. Isabel Dreyer (Newport News, Va./Menchville) and Jordan Stallings (Portsmouth, Va./Manor) also had incredible performances, as the sophomore-freshman pairing put up two 6-1 finishes against the Vixens.

Singles

• Randolph-Macon picked up wins at singles one, two, three and five to create an overall 4-5 record in the afternoon. Both Barrick and Tchantouridze swept their opponents, leading the Lemon and Black. Updike grabbed her win at first singles while only dropping four games, including just one in the first set. Andrulot stole her squad's final win, with a comeback victory in a tiebreaker after battling down a set.
