FOREST, Va. – The Old Dominion Athletic Conference has released its women's soccer preseason coaches' poll for the 2025 fall season and Randolph-Macon has been picked fifth. The Yellow Jackets received 95 points in the voting process. 
 
First year head coach Patrick Corbett has two of four all-conference players returning to the pitch for the Lemon and Black this season. 

Number 13 nationally ranked Washington and Lee were picked at the top of the standings, following an ODAC title season and NCAA Sweet Sixteen appearance in 2024. The Generals received 12 of the 13 first place votes to total 144 points. Conference runner-up Virginia Wesleyan collected the other first place vote and 129 points to grab the second spot. Lynchburg took home the third spot in the preseason poll with 125 points.
 
Bridgewater was seated in the fourth spot with 101 overall points as the final team with more than 100 points. The Yellow Jackets were slated next in the poll with 95 points to round out the top five teams.
 
Shenandoah sees a sixth-place tally with 93 points and Roanoke earns themselves 82 points overall in the seventh spot. Guilford (71), Randolph (54) and Averett (44) took the final three spots in the top-ten.

Eastern Mennonite sits in the 11th spot with 37 points, as Hollins (26) and Sweet Briar (13) round out the final two spots in the preseason standings.

Randolph-Macon returns the majority of their roster from the 2024 season, including all-conference forwards Lauren Brokaw (Glen Allen, Va./Glen Allen) and Ally Spangler (Daleville, Va./Lord Botetourt).   

The Yellow Jackets will open the season on Friday, Aug. 29, when they travel to Mary Washington with a scheduled start of 2:30 p.m.
