ASHLAND, Va. - The Randolph-Macon women's tennis saw wins in #1 singles by
Camilla Thurman (Knoxville, Tenn./Knoxville Catholic) and a doubles win in first doubles with Thurman and
Catherine Mowry (Lynchburg, Va./Liberty Christian Academy) to highlight the Yellow Jackets.

Doubles:
The Yellow Jackets won in first doubles with Thurman and Mowry as they stay hot in consecutive matches, taking down their opponents by a score of 6-4. Sweet Briar won second/third doubles to take majority of the wins and take a 1-0 team score into singles.
Meckenzie Letellier (Alexandria, Va./Bishop Ireton) and
Emma Turner (Chesapeake, Va./Hickory) showed a strong performance in second doubles in a close 6-4 scoreline.

In singles, the Yellow Jackets got a win in #1 singles by Thurman to grab a point for the team score. In #2 and #3 singles both Mowry and Letellier had good matches to put pressure on their opponents, but fell for the overall match.
Sweet Briar would defeat the Lemon and Black by winning 5-out-6 singles matches to win overall 6-1.
