ASHLAND, Va. - Randolph-Macon women's tennis fell to Shenandoah in its Swarm Game home match by a score of 7-2. The Yellow Jackets were swept in all three doubles matches, but
Meckenzie Letellier (Alexandria, Va./Bishop Ireton) and
Katie Sarnowski (Mechanicsville, Va./Atlee) did take second doubles to extra points in an 8-7 defeat. In singles, the Lemon and Black saw
Camilla Thurman (Knoxville, Tenn./Knoxville Catholic) made quick work of her opponent in first singles and Letellier would follow her teammate up with a sweep of her own in third singles. The two singles wins were the only points that Randolph-Macon would get in the entire match. Shenandoah used the three match sweep in doubles to propel them to a 7-2 road victory.
