ASHLAND, Va. - Randolph-Macon women's tennis fell to Shenandoah in its Swarm Game home match by a score of 7-2. The Yellow Jackets were swept in all three doubles matches, but Meckenzie Letellier (Alexandria, Va./Bishop Ireton) and Katie Sarnowski (Mechanicsville, Va./Atlee) did take second doubles to extra points in an 8-7 defeat. In singles, the Lemon and Black saw Camilla Thurman (Knoxville, Tenn./Knoxville Catholic) made quick work of her opponent in first singles and Letellier would follow her teammate up with a sweep of her own in third singles. The two singles wins were the only points that Randolph-Macon would get in the entire match. Shenandoah used the three match sweep in doubles to propel them to a 7-2 road victory.

• Thurman (RMC) over Spruill (SU) 6-2,6-4
• Guzzo (SU) over Mowry (RMC) 7-5,6-2
• Letellier (RMC) over Stepleman (SU) 6-2,6-3
• Hatseras (SU) over Sarnowski (RMC) 6-2,6-2
• Cherwien (SU) over Matty Grace Gilliam (Murfreesboro, N.C./Ridgecroft) (RMC) 6-1,6-3
• Talko (SU) over Becky Villeda (Williamsburg, Va./Walsingham Academy) (RMC) 6-2,6-2
