Women's Tennis Drops Match to Averett


ASHLAND, Va. - Randolph-Macon women's tennis dropped its Sunday conference matchup with Averett, as they lost for the first time since its opening match in the fall season with Washington and Lee. In doubles Camilla Thurman (Knoxville, Tenn./Knoxville Catholic) and Catherine Mowry (Lynchburg, Va. Liberty Christian Academy) lost a close match 8-5. In singles action, Thurman took the first set to extra points in first singles before falling in a close 7-5 set.
