Fowler doubled the Randolph-Macon lead and her goal count less than thirty seconds after Bartley's goal to put the RMC advantage at 3-1. The next four minutes were dominated by the Avenging Angels, scoring three straight goals to take the lead back with 10:11 remaining in the first half by a score of 4-3. Both teams traded goals in the next four minutes, Annie Pruitt (Westminster, Md. Winters Mill) tied the game up on a goal assisted by Evie McNeally (Severna Park, Md./Archbishop Spalding) and Meredith answered back to take the lead back. The Yellow Jackets scored back-to-back goals by Pruitt and Fowler to take the lead 6-5 into the halftime break.
- The Avenging Angels didn't quit as they saw Arrianna May score twice in a minute to begin the third period to take the lead 7-6. Randolph-Macon would end up going on a four goal run to ultimately put the game out of reach to end the period up 10-7. Evie McNeally (Severna Park, Md./Archbishop Spalding) led the run with two goals and Anna Snoddy (Palmyra, Va./Univ. of Lynchburg) and Davis lended a hand with a goal a piece to storm the Yellow Jackets ahead.
- Meredith got within one goal, as they scored two straight goals to begin the final 15 minutes, but RMC ended the comeback threat with two more goals by Evie McNeally (Severna Park, Md./Archbishop Spalding) to ice the game with five minutes remaining for a 12-9 victory.
