Box Score SALEM, Va. – Junior Annie Bartley (Richmond, Va./Mills Godwin) netted four goals as the RMC women's lacrosse team dropped a 15-9 ODAC decision at Roanoke on Saturday afternoon.

How It Happened
- The Maroons scored three times in the first 2:13 before Bartley scored for the Yellow Jackets with 5:19 remaining in the first period. Bartley added a second goal on an assist by sophomore Evie McNeally (Severna Park, Md./Archbishop Spalding), and McNeally scored with 42 seconds left to level the score at 3-3 after the first quarter.
- Bartley assisted on a goal by sophomore Rianna Lowery (Bel Air, Md./Notre Dame Prep) and Bartley added her third goal with 8:48 left in the second period to give RMC a 5-3 edge. RC would net the final four goals of the quarter to take a 7-5 lead at intermission.
- RC had the first goal of the third period before Lowery scored midway through the quarter to make it 8-6. The Maroons had the final two goals of the period to extend the lead to 10-6.
- Senior Kayla Ross (Gambrills, Md./Arundel) had the first goal of the fourth quarter on an assist by Lowery to narrow the gap to 10-7. RC had the next three goals before Bartley scored to make it 13-8 with 5:20 remaining. The Maroons netted the next two goals before Lowery scored on a free position shot to make the final 15-9.

- Bartley had four goals and one assist for five points. Lowery scored three goals with one assist for four points.
- Freshman Emma Moxham (Street, Md./Garrison Forest) led RMC with six draw controls. Sophomore Taylor Mittelstadter (Chesterfield, Va./Manchester) grabbed two.
- Junior Emma Taylor (Huntingtown, Md./Huntingtown) had five ground balls, while McNeally, senior Logan Schweiger (Church Hill, Md./Queen Anne's County) and freshman Elaina Creekmore (Pasadena, Md./Old Mill) each had two.
- Taylor had two caused turnovers and 13 saves.
