ASHLAND, Va. – Junior Annie Bartley (Richmond, Va./Mills Godwin) paced the victors with three goals and four assists for seven points as the R-MC women's lacrosse team posted a 23-4 ODAC victory over Randolph on Saturday afternoon.

How It Happened

• Sophomore Rianna Lowery (Bel Air, Md./Notre Dame Prep) scored twice in the first three minutes for the Yellow Jackets before the WildCats tallied their first goal. RMC scored the next seven goals in the first period, with sophomore Evie McNeally (Severna Park, Md./Archbishop Spalding) netting three of them, as the Yellow Jackets led 9-1 after one.
• Freshman Lilly Fowler (Phoenix, Md./Notre Dame Prep) had the first goal of the second period, her second of the game. Sophomore Jordyn Schwartz (Reistertown, Md./St. Paul's) had her first goal of the season and Bartley scored her second goal of the game as the home team led 12-1 with five minutes remaining. RC had the final score of the quarter as RMC led 12-2 at intermission.
• The Yellow Jackets had the first five goals of the third period, with the first two by sophomore Taylor Mittelstadter (Chesterfield, Va./Manchester) and single goals by senior Grace Lambert (Nashua, N.H./Bishop Guertin), junior Amelia Davis (Davidsonville, Md./South River) and freshman Kiley Kurcoba (White Marsh, Md./Perry Hall) to go up 17-2. The WildCats had the final score of the period as RMC led 17-3 after three.
• Bartley had the first goal of the fourth quarter and Schwartz tallied the next two. Kurcoba scored with six minutes left as the Yellow Jackets went up 21-3. Fowler assisted on three of those goals. Following an RC score, senior Logan Schweiger (Church Hill, Md./Queen Anne's County) assisted freshman Emma Moxham (Street, Md./Garrison Forest) and Schweiger scored in the final goal on an assist by senior Kayla Ross (Gambrills, Md./Arundel) as RMC registered the 23-4 victory.

• The Yellow Jackets had season highs with 23 goals, 18 assists, 41 points and 19 draw controls.
• RMC had seven players with multiple goals. Schwartz, Mittelstadter, McNeally and Bartley each had three, while Fowler, Lowery and Kurcoba tallied two.
• Bartley had four assists for seven points. Fowler finished with three assists and five points. Mittelstadter and McNeally had two assists and five points. Schweiger had two assists and three points. Ross also had two assists.
• Moxham topped RMC with five draw controls. Elaina Creekmore had three, while Mittelstadter, senior Italia Carnazza (Fairfax, Va./Paul VI) and freshman Lydia Lesnevich (Catonsville, Md./Towson) each had two.

• Junior Emma Taylor (Huntingtown, Md./Huntingtown) had three saves in the first quarter. Freshman Gillian Gladden (Taneytown, Md./Francis Scott Key) recorded four saves in the second and third quarters. Sophomore Ellen Stark (Orefield, Pa./Oakcrest) recorded three saves in the fourth period.
