Box Score WASHINGTON, D.C. – Junior Annie Bartley (Richmond, Va./Mills Godwin) recorded two goals and two assists as the R-MC women's lacrosse team dropped a 14-10 decision at Catholic on Wednesday evening.

How It Happened
- The Cardinals scored the first two goals of the game. Sophomore Taylor Mittelstadter (Chesterfield, Va./Manchester) had an unassisted goal with four minutes left and Bartley fed sophomore Evie McNeally (Severna Park, Md./Archbishop Spalding) two minutes later as the Yellow Jackets tied it at 2-2. Bartley again found McNeally for a player-up goal with 19 seconds remaining as RMC led 3-2 after one period.
- Catholic quickly tied it in the second quarter before McNeally scored again on an assist by freshman Elaina Creekmore (Pasadena, Md./Old Mill) and sophomore Amanda Maxwell (Baltimore, Md./Loch Raven) added another player-up goal as the Yellow Jackets led 5-3 with 5:30 left in the first half. The Cardinals would have the final three goals of the period and led 6-5 at intermission.
- Bartley scored on a pass from sophomore Rianna Lowery (Bel Air, Md./Notre Dame Prep) and freshman Lilly Fowler (Phoenix, Md./Notre Dame Prep) added a goal as RMC took a 7-6 edge with seven minutes left in the third quarter. Catholic had the final five goals of the period and took an 11-7 advantage.
- Bartley scored on a free position shot and Lowery added a goal as the Yellow Jackets pulled within two at 11-9 with seven minutes remaining. Catholic netted the next three goals before Fowler added a goal in the final minute on a pass from Lowery to make the final score 14-10.
