Box Score ASHLAND, Va. – Junior Emma Taylor (Huntingtown, Md./Huntingtown) recorded 18 saves, while sophomore Evie McNeally (Severna Park, Md./Archbishop Spalding) and freshman Lilly Fowler (Phoenix, Md./Notre Dame Prep) both had four goals and one assist, as the R-MC women's lacrosse team posted a 17-11 victory over McDaniel on Saturday afternoon.

How It Happened
- The Green Terror tallied the game's first goal before the Yellow Jackets netted the next four. Fowler had two of those goals, while McNeally and junior Annie Bartley (Richmond, Va./Mills Godwin) accounted for the other two. Sophomore Rianna Lowery (Bel Air, Md./Notre Dame Prep) had two assists, while McNeally and Bartley each had one. McDaniel got the next two goals to pull within one before Lowery scored on a pass from sophomore Taylor Mittelstadter (Chesterfield, Va./Manchester) and junior Kaleigh Mulligan (Dunkirk, Md./Northern) connected on a free position shot as RMC led 6-3 after one period.
- The Green Terror had the first two goals of the second quarter to again make it a one-goal game before Mulligan scored on another free position shot as the Yellow Jackets led 7-5 at the half.
- RMC would take control by scoring five times in the third quarter. Fowler and McNeally both had two goals, while freshman Emma Moxham (Street, Md./Garrison Forest School) was successful on a free position shot as the Yellow Jackets led 12-5 after three periods.
- Early in the fourth quarter, McDaniel had two goals sandwiched around a score by freshman Elaina Creekmore (Pasadena, Md./Old Mill) before senior Logan Schweiger (Church Hill, Md./Queen Anne's County) and Lowery scored on free position shots to give the home team a 15-7 advantage with 10 minutes remaining. Mittelstadter added a goal and McNeally had the final goal for the victors on a pass from freshman Caty Benton (Richmond, Va./Mills Godwin) to make the final 17-11.
