ASHLAND, Va. - Randolph-Macon moves to 2-1 beating Catholic University 8-1 in Ashland. In doubles play the Jackets got a strong performance at 1 doubles from
Camilla Thurman and
Catherine Mowry winning 8-3. Following a setback at 2nd doubles,
Adele Huffman and
Becky Villeda closed out a tiebreaker victory 8-7(9) to give the Jackets their 2nd point. The Jackets cruised in Singles winning in straight sets in all but one match.
Meckenzie Letellier gutted out a third set tiebreaker victory 3-6,6-1,10-7.
Elizabeth Key won a first set tiebreaker and closed out the match at sixth singles 7-6(3)n 6-0. The Jackets move to 2-1 on the season heading into their spring season
