ROANOKE, Va. - Randolph-Macon moves to 3-1 (1-1), after defeating Hollins University 9-0 on the road to begin the spring season. In the three doubles matches, Randolph-Macon didn't give up a set to Hollins, totalling a score of 24-0.
Camilla Thurman (Knoxville, Tenn./Knoxville Catholic) and
Catherine Mowry (Lynchburg, Va. Liberty Christian Academy) won 8-0.
Katie Sarnowski (Mechanicsville, Va./Atlee) and
Meckenzie Letellier (Alexandria, Va./Bishop Ireton) also swept their opponents 8-0.
Elizabeth Key (Moseley, Va./Cosby) and
Becky Villeda (Williamsburg, Va./Walsingham Academy) followed suit to sweep their doubles match. The Jackets move to 3-1 (1-1) on the season to begin their spring season.
