Box Score ASHLAND, Va. – Sophomore Annie Bartley (Richmond, Va./Mills Godwin) had three shots on goal and scored on all three, and senior Caraline Cypher (Havre de Grace, Md./Havre de Grace) recorded 15 saves, as the R-MC women's lacrosse team dropped a 16-6 ODAC decision to Roanoke on Saturday afternoon on Senior Day.

How It Happened
- The Maroons tallied four goals in the first period and three in the second to take a 7-0 lead at the break. Cypher had nine saves in the first half, including seven in the first quarter, for the Yellow Jackets.
- Sophomore Sarah Lynch (Fallston, Md./Friends School of Baltimore) got R-MC on the board 31 seconds into the third period on an assist by freshman Jordyn Schwartz (Reistertown, Md./St. Paul's) to make it 7-1. RC tallied the next two goals before junior Kayla Ross (Gambrills, Md./Arundel) scored on a pass from junior Logan Schweiger (Church Hill, Md./Queen Anne's County) to make the score 9-2 with 9:35 remaining. The Maroons got the next two goals before senior Lily Henderson (Manakin-Sabot, Va./St. Catherine's) scored on a free position shot. RC had the final two scores of the quarter to lead 14-3 after three periods.
- The Maroons got the first goal of the fourth quarter before Bartley scored consecutive goals to make it 14-5 with 11:39 remaining. Bartley's third goal, which was assisted by freshman Rianna Lowery (Bel Air, Md./Notre Dame Prep), was sandwiched by two RC goals to make the final score 16-6.

- Bartley led R-MC with five shots, while Ross had four and freshman Evie McNeally (Severna Park, Md./Archbishop Spalding) added three.
- Senior Italia Carnazza (Fairfax, Va./Paul VI) paced the Yellow Jackets with six draw controls. Henderson and freshman Taylor Mittelstadter (Chesterfield, Va./Manchester) both had three.
- Senior Molly Mahoney (Jupiter, Fla./Jupiter Community) topped R-MC with three ground balls and senior McKenzie Hynson (Pasadena, Md./Northeast) had two.
- Mahoney had a pair of caused turnovers.
