(ASHLAND, Va.) – The Randolph-Macon women's tennis team dropped an ODAC contest against Shenandoah to start the weekend on Saturday afternoon. Adele Huffman (So., Granite Falls, N.C. / University Christian) shined for the Yellow Jackets as she picked up a win in singles action against the Hornets. The Lemon and Black will another opportunity Sunday to pick up a W as they take on Ferrum.

How It Happened
- Shenandoah jumped on top early as they took a sweep of doubles action. Huffman and Gabby Cifuentes (Sr., Stafford, Va. / Paul VI) scored three games at second doubles, but eventually fell 8-3.
- Huffman rebounded to score the Yellow Jackets' lone point at No. 4 singles. She took the opening set against Lily Kimble 6-2 and while Kimble played closer in the second, Huffman kept it from going three with a 6-3 win.
- Sarah Paige White (Fr., Richmond, Va. / St. Catherine's) kept the opening set close at sixth singles with a 6-3 loss, but the second went 6-1 as Kelly Hudak took the point.
