Box Score ASHLAND, Va. – Freshman Rianna Lowery (Bel Air, Md./Notre Dame Prep) had three goals and two assists for five points as the R-MC women's lacrosse team was nipped by Mary Washington 11-10 on Sunday afternoon.

How It Happened
- The Eagles had the first goal of the game before senior McKenzie Hynson (Pasadena, Md./Northeast) tied it less than four minutes into the contest. UMW netted a second goal with 58 seconds remaining before Lowery leveled the score with nine seconds left. The game stood at 2-2 after one period.
- UMW would record the first three goals of the second quarter before senior Lily Henderson (Manakin-Sabot, Va./St. Catherine's) and junior Kayla Ross (Gambrills, Md./Arundel) scored 15 seconds apart as R-MC trailed 5-4 with 5:40 remaining. The Eagles tallied two goals to go up three before sophomore Annie Bartley (Richmond, Va./Mills Godwin) scored with 1:21 left and Lowery fed sophomore Sarah Lynch (Fallston, Md./Friends School of Baltimore) on a goal with 18 seconds left as the Eagles led 7-6 at intermission.
- The Eagles had the first goal of the third period before Lowery assisted on a goal by Henderson and Hynson scored with 9:39 left as the Yellow Jackets tied it at 8-8. UMW broke the deadlock with 36 seconds remaining as the Eagles took a 9-8 edge into the final quarter.
- UMW got the first goal of the fourth period before Lowery pulled the home team within one with 12:59 remaining. The Eagles scored three minutes later before Lowery netted her final goal with 1:32 left that made the final 11-10.

- R-MC had three score multiple goals. Along with three by Lowery, Henderson and Hynson both registered two.
- The Yellow Jackets had an 18-7 advantage in draw controls. Hynson recorded 10 draw controls
- Senior Caraline Cypher (Havre de Grace, Md./Havre de Grace) had nine saves for R-MC. She also led the team with three ground balls.
- Hynson, senior Italia Carnazza (Fairfax, Va./Paul VI) and junior Emily Pritchett (Cockeysville, Md./Dulaney) each had two ground balls.
- Carnazza and senior Katie Sheehan (Gambrills, Md./Archbishop Spalding) both had two caused turnovers.
