Box Score FERRUM, Va. – The Randolph-Macon field hockey team took the road to southwest Virginia in a weekend visit to Ferrum College. A trio of goals were the difference as the Yellow Jackets rolled to victory in shutout fashion.

How it Happened:
- The Yellow Jackets wasted no time applying pressure on the Panther's defense. R-MC tallied 14 shots, including six on goal, resulting in a goal from sophomore Alaina McCoy (Fredericksburg, Va./Stafford) in the 13th minute.
- R-MC had double digit shots for the second period in a row but couldn't add onto their lead.
- The third quarter was more of the same, as 14 more shots came from the Yellow Jackets, and it paid off with two goals.
- The first goal came from junior Anna Stribling (Annandale, Va./W.T. Woodson), and was followed by a goal from senior Summer Kujawa (Hampton, Va./Kecoughtan) to add onto her assist that she had earlier in the matchup. Stribling added the helper on the Kujawa goal.
Inside the Numbers:
- R-MC outshot the Panthers 49-2 overall and 21-0 on goal. Both marks are season highs for the club. Kujawa led the way with 13 total shots.
- Goalkeeper Kelsey Seiler (Midlothian, Va./Midlothian) picked up her first win of the season, despite not seeing a shot on goal in the game.
- Kujawa's goal and assist today marks her second multi-point game of the season for the senior. The other came in a 9-0 win over Southern Virginia where she had two goals and an assist. She now has three goals and five assists on the year.
- Alaina McCoy's first quarter goal was her fifth on the year, which leads the team.
- Anna Stribling's multi point game comes as her second of the season. Similar to Kujawa, her other game came against Southern Virginia where she had two assists.
