(LYNCHBURG, Va.) – The women's tennis season came to an end for Randolph-Macon as it fell to Lynchburg in the ODAC Tournament quarterfinals on Saturday afternoon. The Yellow Jackets entered the contest as the No. 7 seed while the hosting Hornets were seeded second.

How It Happened
- The results repeated itself from last week's contest as the Yellow Jackets were unable to register a team point.
- The duo of Matty Grace Gilliam (Fr., Murfreesboro, N.C. / Ridgecroft) and Adele Huffman (Fr., Granite Falls, N.C. / University Christian) won two games during the third doubles contest against Grace and Elizabeth Teefey, but eventually fell 8-2.
- The first doubles pairing of Grace Holderman (So., Roanoke, Va. / Cave Spring) and Daniella Hafner (Sr., Leesburg, Va. / Loudoun County) also won a game before being defeated by Christina Harris and Caroline Guill 8-1.
- The match ended after the Hornets took a 5-0 lead to clinch the team victory. They'll move on to face Sweet Briar in the semifinals.
