(ASHLAND, Va.) – Randolph-Macon was defeated by Lynchburg in ODAC women's tennis action to close out the home schedule for the season. The Yellow Jackets will close out the regular season tomorrow on the road.

How It Happened
- The Yellow Jackets lost all three doubles matches to trail 3-0. The first doubles duo of Avery Smith (Jr., Walpole, Mass. / Walpole) and Grace Holderman (So., Roanoke, Va. / Cave Spring) as well as the team of Andrea Wine (Sr., King George, Va. / King George) and Isabel Wadsworth (Sr., Lake Wales, Fla. / Lake Wales) at thirds both provided the closest contests, but both lost 8-3.
- In singles action, Holderman played the closest match at first singles. She dropped the first set 6-2 and the second 6-1.
- Wine was able to win two games in the first set of her match at fifth singles, but lost 6-2, 6-0.
Additional Notes
- Today also served as Senior Day for four players. In addition to Wine and Wadsworth, Daniella Hafner (Sr., Leesburg, Ba. / Loudoun County) and Sarah Seward (Sr., Claremont, Va. / Appomattox Regional Governor's School) were appearing in their final home contest as a Yellow Jacket.
