Box Score VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. – Seniors Bella Samper (Spring, Texas/Klein Oak) and Natalie Webster (Midlothian, Va./Midlothian) both scored five goals as the Randolph-Macon women's lacrosse team posted a 23-7 ODAC victory at Virginia Beach on Wednesday afternoon.

How It Happened
- The Yellow Jackets had three of the first four goals of the game, with two by Samper and one by senior Erin Mattone (Little Silver, N.J./Red Bank Catholic) as R-MC took a 3-1 lead. Sophomore Kayla Ross had assists on the first two scores and freshman Amelia Davis (Davidsonville, Md./South River) helped on the third. The Marlins had the next two goals to level the score at 3-3 ten minutes into the contest. The Yellow Jackets would take control by scoring the next nine goals. Ross had the go-ahead goal and scored three in the run, while Webster added two. Samper's second score capped the spurt and put the visitors up 12-3 with 6:15 left in the first half. Each team would add three more goals before intermission. Junior McKenzie Hynson (Pasadena, Md./Northeast), Webster and sophomore Logan Schweiger (Church Hill, Md./Queen Anne's County) each scored as R-MC led 15-6 at the half.
- R-MC would record eight of the nine goals in the second stanza. Webster and Samper both had two, while Ross, senior Kaylyn Hewes (Linthicum, Md./North County), freshman Sarah Lynch (Fallston, Md./Friends School of Baltimore) and senior Kendall Griffis (Cherry Hill, N.J./Bishop Eustace) each had single scores in the second half. Schweiger had three assists after intermission.
