ASHLAND, Va. – Randolph-Macon Women's Tennis secured a 9-0 sweep of Sweet Briar Saturday afternoon to remain undefeated on the season.

How It Happened
- Randolph-Macon ensured the early lead with a trio of defeats in doubles.
- Junior Courtney Jenkins (Yorktown, Va. / York) and sophomore Isabel Wadsworth (Lake Wales, Fla. / Lake Wales) earned R-MC its first win of the day at No. 3 Doubles with an 8-0 victory against My-Xuan Hillengas and Emily Wrenn.
- Juniors Kristin Dantzler (Williamsburg, Va. / York) and Landon Aud (Fishersville, Va. / Wilson Memorial) also swept their Vixen opponents at No. 2 Doubles, Lexi Culley and Ruth Lechner with an 8-0 score.
- No. 1 Doubles pairing of senior Stephanie Yeager (Fairfax, Va. / Robinson Secondary) and junior Morgan Fuqua (Richmond, VA / Mills Godwin) defeated SBC's Emily Wandling and Lacey Tucker 8-1.
- In singles action, two Yellow Jackets got straight sweeps. Wadsworth defeated Lechner 6-0, 6-0, at No. 4 Singles while Jenkins bested Wrenn by the same score at No. 5 Singles.
- Sophomore Daniella Hafner (Leesburg, Va. / Loudoun County) tallied a 6-0, 6-1 win against Hillengas at No. 6 Singles.
- Yeager took care of Culley by the score of 6-0, 6-1 in No. 2 Singles
- Aud faced little trouble with her opponent, Tucker, at No. 3 Singles, winning 6-1, 6-0.
- The final match of the afternoon pitted Fuqua against Wandling at No. 1 Singles. Fuqua took the first set 6-1 while Wandling claimed the second set 7-6. With the match decided, the two played a single tiebreak set, which Fuqua claimed 10-8.
Inside The Numbers
- Aud, Hafner, Wadsworth and Yeager are all undefeated in singles play.
- No Yellow Jacket has lost a doubles match yet this season. The team is 20-0 in doubles play.
