LEXINGTON, Va. – The second-seeded Randolph-Macon women's tennis was unable to get a point in doubles and top-seeded and 15th-ranked Washington and Lee won a pair of singles matches to win the 2016 ODAC Championship.
The Yellow Jackets fell to 17-2 following their first trip to the title match.
The Generals (18-5) took No. 1 Doubles 8-1, No. 2 Doubles 8-0 and No. 3 Doubles 8-1 to take a quick 3-0 lead.
W&L posted a win at No. 2 Singles 6-0, 6-0 and clinched the match with a 6-2, 6-0 victory at No. 5 Singles.
