#2 R-MC Falls to #1 W&L in ODAC Women's Lacrosse Title Game

LEXINGTON, Va. - Junior Susie Snee (Bel Air, Md./John Carroll) had two goals and freshman Hannah Jones (Chestertown, Md./Kent County) had a goal and an assist as the second-seeded Randolph-Macon women's lacrosse team fell 16-3 to top-seeded Washington and Lee in the championship game of the ODAC Tournament.

The Generals (13-5) scored the first six goals before Jones connected on a free position shot with 12:29 left in the first half. W&L tallied the final six goals of the period and led 10-1 at the break.

Snee netted the first goal of the second half less than two minutes into the period before W&L scored six straight to take a 16-2 lead. Snee had the final goal of the game on an assist by Jones to make the final 16-3.

Snee paced the Yellow Jackets (12-6) with five shots. Junior Laney Dee (Norfolk, Va./Bishop Sullivan) and sophomore Alicia Hsieh (Ellicott City, Md./Centennial) both had two draw controls for R-MC.

Junior Allie Walker (Towson, Md./Mercy) had six saves for the Yellow Jackets.

Snee and Dee were named to the ODAC All-Tournament Team, along with junior Jessie Cornbrooks (Virginia Beach, Va./Bishop Sullivan), who scored three goals in R-MC's 17-7 semifinal win over Lynchburg.
