ASHLAND, Va. – Due to predicted inclement weather on Saturday, the ODAC doubleheader between fifth-ranked Randolph-Macon and Lynchburg has been moved to Sunday.
The games were originally scheduled to begin at noon on Saturday, April 9, but will now start at noon on Sunday, April 10 at Lynchburg.
The Yellow Jackets are 21-5-1 after their thrilling 7-6 victory on Wednesday against Methodist. R-MC trailed 6-2 in the ninth before a three-run homer by senior Travis Lodge (Chesterfield, Va./Matoaca) pulled the home team within one before a two-run dinger by senior Mitchell Keeler (Mechanicsville, Va./Atlee) gave the Yellow Jackets the victory.
R-MC is 7-5 in conference contests.
