As a junior (2015): Keeler appeared in 27 games, starting all of them in his third season with the Yellow Jackets…He tallied 108 at bats, 28 runs, 42 hits, 20 RBI, and two homeruns…Keeler also registered 154 putouts and 17 assists at catcher…Mitchell finished the season third in the ODAC for Batting Average (.389) and fifth in the ODAC for On-Base Percentage (.452).
As a sophomore (2014): Started 35 games for R-MC...recorded a 0.504 slug percentage with 44 hits, 33 runs, 5 homeruns and 34 RBI...earned 20 walks...registered a .331 batting average.
As a freshman (2013): Started 34 games for the Yellow Jackets...registered a .350 batting average and 0.562 slug percentage...recorded 5 homeruns, 25 RBI, 48 hits and 26 runs...earned 25 walks...had an on base percentage of 0.458.
Personal: Mitchell attended Atlee High School where he earned four varsity letters in baseball ... He helped lead his team to a back-to-back District Championship titles in 2011 and 2012 as well as an American Legion Post 175 District 11 Championship title in 2011 ... Mitchell was a four year starting varsity catcher and was awarded three All-District Honorable Mention honors, Second Team All-District, named team captain in 2012 and was a part of the 2011 Commonwealth Games ... He intends to pursue a degree in Business.
