ASHLAND, Va.—Freshman Gaby Tersigni (Yorktown, Va. / York) had a close second set but ultimately fell 6-2, 6-4 at No. 4 Singles as the Randolph-Macon women's tennis team dropped a 9-0 decision to No. 13 Washington and Lee Sunday afternoon.
The Yellow Jackets conclude the regular season at 15-1 overall and 9-1 in conference matches. R-MC will be the No. 2 seed in the 2016 ODAC Tournament.
The Generals (15-5, 10-0 ODAC) held a 3-0 advantage after doubles competition before claiming each singles match.
Additional tournament information will be released by the conference office after all teams have concluded the regular season.
