EMORY, Va.—Junior Melissa Tomlin (Prince George, Va. / Prince George) claimed a 6-0, 6-1 win at No. 3 Singles as the Randolph-Macon women's tennis team grabbed a 6-3 ODAC victory at Emory & Henry Sunday afternoon.
Tomlin paired with junior Molly Jesseman (Williamsburg, Va. / Warhill) to win 8-2 at No. 3 Doubles.
The Yellow Jackets (11-0, 6-0 ODAC), ranked No. 14 in the Atlantic South Region, held a 2-1 lead after doubles play and added four wins in singles play to take the match.
Junior Kelsie Grice (Hoover, Ala. / Charlotte Country Day) and freshman Gaby Tersigni (Yorktown, Va. / York) teamed at No. 2 Doubles to win 8-4. Tersigni recorded a 6-0, 6-0 victory at No. 4 Singles.
Juniors Caitlin Delmas (Asheville, NC / K-12 International Academy) and Toni McDonald (Richmond, Va. / Varina) tallied 6-0, 6-1 and 6-1, 6-0 wins at No. 2 and No. 5 Singles, respectively.
Randolph-Macon looks to continue its win streak on Thursday, April 14 at 3:30 p.m. against Bridgewater at the Banks Tennis Center.
