ASHLAND, Va.—Randolph-Macon senior Katie Anderson (Beaverdam, Va. / Patrick Henry) is within reach of breaking the All-Time record for rebounds against Randolph on Saturday, Feb. 13 at 2 p.m.
Anderson is two rebounds short of the record, currently held by Molly Ariail '10 with 1,005. She began the week 28 boards away and tallied 15 rebounds against Virginia Wesleyan and added 12 against Gallaudet.
The Yellow Jackets (11-11, 6-7 ODAC) enter the game on a two-game win streak, posting a slim 72-71 victory over Virginia Wesleyan on Feb. 9 and a 73-57 win at Gallaudet on Feb. 11.
Head coach Carroll LaHaye and staff will coach against Lindsey Sharman '14 who joined Randolph's coaching staff this season.
Saturday's contest will be Camper Day. All campers who attended R-MC women's basketball camps during the summer will be recognized.
Saturday will mark the 55th contest against the Wildcats (4-18, 2-11 ODAC). R-MC holds a 49-5 advantage in the series since 1980 including a 25-1 record at home.
