ASHLAND, Va. – College Sports Communicators (CSC) has announced the 2025-26 Academic All-District selections for all divisions of NCAA and NAIA women's basketball. The Yellow Jackets had three members named to the list this past academic year. 
 
Sam Smith (Chesterfield, Va./St. Gertrudes), who is majoring in Computer Science with a minor in Communications Studies, sees her name appear on the list for the second consecutive season. McKenzie Matheny (Fairfax Station, Va./West Springfield), majoring in Business and Anna Wilcox (Asheville, N.C./A.C. Reynolds), majoring in Business with a concentration Communication Studies, each make the list for the first time.
 
To be eligible, a player must have a 3.50 cumulative GPA or higher as well as playing in at least 90% of team games or start 66% of them.
 
Under head coach Lindsey Burke-Eberhart, Randolph-Macon finished with a record of 21-8 overall and 13-3 in ODAC contests. The Yellow Jackets reached NCAA Tournament for the 14th time in program history, marking the first time they made it without clinching the ODAC regular season title or conference championship.
