Lindsey Burke-Eberhart completed her fifth season as the head coach of the Yellow Jackets in 2024-25. In her five-year stint at RMC, Burke-Eberhart has compiled an overall record of 88-25 and a 63-10 conference record, including an appearance in the 2022 and 2025 conference championship game. During her fifth season at RMC, she led the Yellow Jackets to one of the best seasons in program history and finished with a 29-2 overall and 16-0 in conference play. Burke-Eberhart was named the 2025 ODAC Coach of the Year for the second consecutive year in her coaching career.

In her fifth season, Burke-Eberhart led the Lemon and Black to a regular season record of 24-1 (16-0) riding a program's best 23 game winning streak. The team defeated four nationally ranked during that span (Johns Hopkins, Rhode Island, Washington and Lee and Bridgewater). Burke-Eberhart led the team to its first conference championship title since the 2019-20 season and also a conference regular season crown. Randolph-Macon hosted the first weekend of the NCAA tournament and defeated Piedmont and #20 Elizabethtown to secure a spot in the sweet 16 round (first since the 2006-07 season). Burke-Eberhart ended the season coaching two seperate all-americans in Catherine Kagey and McKenzie Matheny. She was also voted on to be the D3hoops.com region VI coach of the year, the VaSID state coach of the year and was listed as a WBCA national coach of the year finalist. The Yellow Jackets ended the historical season with a final national ranking of #12 in the D3hoops.com top-25 poll.

Lindsey Burke-Eberhart completed her fourth season as the head coach of the Yellow Jackets in 2023-24. In her four-year stint at RMC, Burke has compiled an overall record of 60-23 and a 47-10 conference record, including an appearance in the 2022 conference championship game. During her fourth season at RMC, she led the Yellow Jackets to another impressive season finishing 17-9 overall and 13-5 in conference play. Burke was named the 2024 ODAC Coach of the Year for the first time in her coaching career.

In her third season, Burke led the Yellow Jackets to a 19-7 finish (15-3 ODAC) and fell to Shenandoah in the ODAC quarterfinal game. RMC would finish second in the ODAC standings, only one game back of conference winners Washington and Lee.

During her second season, and first fully scheduled season, Burke led the Jackets to a 20-7 overall record and a 16-2 conference record. She led the program back to its first ODAC Championship game since 2020, falling to Shenandoah 56-43. The Lemon and Black's 16-2 conference record, helped claim a share of the regular season conference title for the first time in 11 years. The overall record of 20-7 was the best overall record since the 2017-18 season.

In her first season at the helm, Burke led the team to an undefeated 4-0 record during a COVID-shortened season in the spring of 2021. Despite a short season, Burke guided the Lemon and Black to a win over preseason ODAC favorite Roanoke and had Randolph-Macon receiving votes for the national polls by the end of the season.

During her eleven-year career, Burke has helped three teams reach the NCAA Tournament.

“Lindsey was impressive from the very beginning,” said R-MC Director of Athletics Jeff Burns. “She has an appreciation for Coach LaHaye’s legacy, an understanding of the College and our mission, a proven record of recruiting and team success. She is a terrific fit for Randolph-Macon, our athletic department and our student-athletes. I am thrilled that she will leading our program.”

Before arriving in Ashland, Burke was an assistant coach at the University of Rochester for three seasons. The Yellowjackets went 24-5 during her first season, earning an at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament and reaching the Elite Eight. UR had consecutive Rookies of the Year in the UAA in Julie Okoniewski (2019) and Hannah Lindemuth (2020). Burke worked with seven All-UAA players and one WBCA All-American.

Burke was also a co-instructor for a 300-level class at UR called The Leadership Experience. The course examined leadership theories, both historical and contemporary. Burke oversaw a Leadership Lab with student-athletes from various sports.

During 2016-17, Burke served as Director of Basketball Operations at Bucknell University. The Bison posted a record of 27-6, won the Patriot League Tournament, and earned a spot in the NCAA Division I Tournament.
