ROANOKE, Va. – The Randolph-Macon women's tennis team recorded a 9-0 ODAC victory at Hollins Sunday afternoon.

The Yellow Jackets (12-5, 7-2) have won four straight matches and seven of the past eight.

Freshman Kelsie Grice (Hoover, Ala./Charlotte Country Day) won at No. 1 singles and teamed with senor Olayemisi Ogunshina (Baltimore, Md./Wilde Lake) to capture No. 2 doubles. Ogunshina also won at No. 3 singles, only losing one game all afternoon. 

Freshman Toni McDonald (Richmond, Va./Varina) was victorious at No. 2 singles and joined sophomore Angelina Sportelli (Mechanicsville, Va./Lee-Davis) to take No. 1 doubles.

Freshman Melissa Tomlin (Prince George, Va./Prince George) did not lose a game in earning a win at No. 4 singles and played with freshman Molly Jesseman (Williamsburg, Va./Warhill) to win No. 3 doubles. Jesseman also was victorious at No.6 singles.

Senior Caty-Betz Holcomb (Lynchburg, Va./E.C. Glass) picked up a shutout win at No. 5 singles.

R-MC returns to action on Monday, April 14 with a 4:00 p.m. ODAC home match against Guilford at the Banks Tennis Center.
