ASHLAND, Va. – Sophomore Katie Russo (Cockeysville, Md./Dulaney) recorded three goals and four assists as the Randolph-Macon women's lacrosse team outscored Marymount 19-10 Wednesday afternoon at Day Field.

The Saints (2-1) scored the first two goals of the game. Marymount led 5-4 with 11:26 left in the first half before the Yellow Jackets (2-1) scored the final six goals of the period to take a 10-5 advantage. Russo had two goals and two assists in the first half.

R-MC scored the first four goals in the second stanza to extend its lead to 14-5. The lead grew to 11 at 18-7 before the Yellow Jackets posted the 19-10 victory.

Sophomore Alyssa Chavez (Frederick, Md./Walkersville) and freshman Laney Dee (Norfolk, Va./Bishop Sullivan) both added three goals. Senior Audrey Hester (Glen Allen, Va./Deep Run) and sophomore Shannon Jamieson (Cypress, Texas/Cypress-Woods) both had two goals and two assists.

The Yellow Jackets travel to St. Mary's on Saturday, March 8 at 3:00 pm.
