ASHLAND, VA – Hollins University won two of three doubles matches to escape an upset bid by Randolph-Macon Women's Tennis Sunday afternoon. The Yellow Jackets travel to Catholic University Monday, April 15th for a 3:00 match.
Reba Sledd and Violet Hahn teamed up at the No. 3 doubles position and scored an 8-6 victory over Tiffany Hodges and Caitlin Hoerr.
Caty-Betz Holcomb picked up a straight sets victory as the No. 4 singles competitor, defeating Sarah McCormick 6-2, 6-2.
Hahn earned her second victory of the day, this time at No. 5 singles, 6-0, 6-4 over Hoerr.
Jane Oh rounded out the Yellow Jackets' singles play with a hard fought, three set win 6-3, 4-6, 10-7.
