Box Score ALLENTOWN, PA -- Eleven different Yellow Jackets scored in a 16-4 Randolph-Macon victory over Cedar Crest Sunday afternoon.
R-MC (3-1) scored 10 unanswered goals in the first-half to take a commanding lead after the first 30 minutes of play.
Betsy Hebert scored two goals in the first 46 seconds to give R-MC an advantage right out of the gate.
Kelly Egan scored with 28:31 left in the half before Emily Lynch and Egan scored five seconds apart to put the Jackets up 5-0 just 3:14 into the game.
Egan then set up Audrey Hester and Rachel Johnsen goals to push the R-MC lead to 7-0.
Ashton Dear and Allie Franklin added unassisted strikes to make it 9-0, before Mikhalia Calice closed out the first-half scoring with just over five minutes remaining.
Randolph-Macon outshot Cedar Crest 22-6 on the day and held a 23-19 advantage in the groundball battle.
Egan finished the day with six points (2g, 4a), while Lynch posted a five point day with a goal and four helpers. Hester also dished out three assists in the win as well.
Nicole Woodworth and Perri Holloman split time in net for RMC.
Randolph-Macon will be back in action on Saturday when it travels to Washington College for a 1:00 p.m. game.
