BRIDEWATER, VA – The Randolph-Macon women's tennis team had its five match winnings streak snapped at the hands of ODAC rival Bridgewater, losing to the Eagles 7-2 on Thursday afternoon.R-MC now stands at 6-4 overall and 2-4 in the league.
The Jackets Sarah Rainey picked up the lone singles win for R-MC, Morgan McGhee 6-2 and 6-4 in the number four flight.
Rainey teamed up with Olayenisi Ogunshina to down BC's Ally McConaughy and Emily Schweitzer 9-7 in No. 2 doubles.
Randolph-Macon will be back in action March 30th against Randolph at 4:00 p.m. in Ashland.
