SALEM, VA - No. 16 Washington and Lee got at least two goals
from six different players as the Generals knocked off
Randolph-Macon 14-3 in the semifinals of the 2009 ODAC Women's
Lacrosse Tournament.
R-MC ends its season with a 9-7 record, while W&L advances
to take on Roanoke at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday in the league
championship game.
Maddie McKaig led the Generals with two goals, while Kate
Speare, Emmy Mathews, Meredith Freeman, Britten Mathews and Colleen
Evans all had two tallies in the victory.
R-MC got all three goals from Morgan Hutchinson. Alex Flammia
made 13 stops in the cage for Randolph-Macon.
