Walsh's Goal Sends R-MC Past Emory and Henry

EMORY, VA-Freshman
Forward Rodrigo Walsh netted an unassisted goal in the
64th minute to give Randolph-Macon Men's Soccer a 1-0
victory over Emory & Henry Friday.
Both teams were held scoreless in
the first half with only R-MC managing a shot on goal.
The Yellow Jackets came out firing
in the second half, outshooting the Wasps 17-4.
Walsh found goal in the
64th minute and the R-MC defense along with Keeper Colin
Royster kept E&H from scoring for the remainder of the match.
Royster collected four saves on the day, all of them coming in the
second half.
Randolph-Macon held a 20-10 shot
advantage in the contest while Emory and Henry edged the Yellow
Jackets 3-2 in corner kicks.
R-MC Men's Soccer will be back in
action Wednesday, October 14th, when they travel to
Hampden-Sydney for a 4:00 p.m. match.
