R-MC Women's Tennis Knocks Off Guilford 8-1
ASHLAND, VA - The Randolph-Macon College women's tennis
team won its second ODAC match in as many days as it topped
visiting Guilford College 8-1 in Ashland on Sunday afternoon.
R-MC (4-2 / 2-2 ODAC) swept all six singles matches to clinch
the victory prior to taking two of the three doubles matches.
Windsor Tyler topped GC's Krystal Parrish 6-2, 3-6, 6-2 at No. 1
singles, and then teamed up with Lauren Cox to capture No. 1
doubles 8-2.
Martha Vlahakis, Karen-Anne McEwen, Whitney Robinson, Jessica
Bayne and Leslie Hainley all picked up singles wins for R-MC.
The Yellow Jackets will be back in action on Tuesday when they
head to Virginia State for a 4:00 p.m. match
