ASHLAND, Va. – The Randolph-Macon baseball team was ranked No. 18 in the final D3baseball.com/NCBWA Top 25 poll of the 2026 season.

This past year, the Lemon and black clinched their second Super Regional berth in the history of the program and finished runner-up to fourth-ranked Rowan in the Glassboro Super Regional. Representing its highest ranking for the duration of the year, Randolph-Macon earned the 18th spot in the rankings as a result of winning its third Regional title in program history, with two coming during the 2024 and 2026 seasons.

For the first time in the history of the program, the Yellow Jackets reached the Division III NCAA Championship in four consecutive seasons. Furthermore, with RMC baseball's postseason berth, Randolph-Macon is the only DIII athletic program to have its baseball, men's basketball and football teams qualify for the NCAA Postseason Tournament in each of the past four years.

Under Head Coach Ray Hedrick, RMC finished with a 29-17 record and went 13-7 in conference play.
