ASHLAND, Va. – The Randolph-Macon baseball team was ranked No. 19 in the final American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) Division III Coaches Poll of the 2026 season.
Representing its highest ranking for the duration of the year, Randolph-Macon earned the slot as a result of winning its third Regional title in program history, with two coming in the past three years. Furthermore, the 2026 Yellow Jackets clinched their second Super Regional berth in the history of the program and finished runner-up to fourth-ranked Rowan in the Glassboro Super Regional.
The Yellow Jackets reached the Division III NCAA Championship for the fourth season in-a-row, marking the first time RMC has ever accomplished the feat.
Under Head Coach
Ray Hedrick, RMC finished with a 29-17 record and went 13-7 in ODAC play. Excluding the 2020 COVID season, the Lemon and Black have now reached 13-or-more conference wins in 12 consecutive seasons.
